The Key.

The only way to stop a strict lock early is your key: a barcode somewhere else in your home. Any barcode or QR code works, from a book to a bag of coffee. Prefer something made for it? Print this card.

4 cards on one A4 sheet, each with a different code. Prints fine on US Letter too.

How to use it

1. Print the PDF at actual size (100 percent), on sturdy paper if you have it.
2. Cut the cards along the dotted line.
3. Open SocialManagement, go to Settings > Key and scan one card twice.
4. Put that card in another room, somewhere it stays put. A kitchen drawer, the hall cupboard, the shed.

To end a strict lock early, tap I have my key and walk there. It's not a vault. It's a walk.

Why four?

Everyone at home with the app can take their own card. Each card has a different code; the app only accepts the card you scanned.

Lost it? Print the PDF again: card 2 is always card 2, so your old key works again right away.

Is that safe?

Everyone who prints this PDF gets the same four codes. That's fine: your key only works on your phone, and the lock is meant as a walk, not a vault. Your phone keeps only a fingerprint of the code, never a photo. Want something nobody else has? Pick a barcode on something you already own.
